  • Where does your power come from? This group of charts and data shows which fuel sources power Australia's main electricity networks.
  • Most of Australia's electricity comes from coal, although brown coal reliance is falling as plants are decommissioned. Wind and solar are growing sources of energy.
  • This data, via OpenNEM, shows fuels feeding electricity grids in Tasmania, Victoria, SA, NSW, ACT and coastal Queensland. WA and NT not currently included. Trend data updated at end of month.
